A Fun Running Dictation Lesson For Intermediate Students
This running dictation for intermediate students is a pair work activity that involves some physical exercise.
The exercise helps improve grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure.
Cut up the worksheet and tape half of each set outside the classroom.
The students have to run out to read the worksheet, and then run back to their partner to dictate as much as they can remember.
When the first students have finished, tape the second half outside for the other student in the pair.
It’s a lot of fun in a group class as a race, with students running in and out and bumping into each other.
