A Revision Lesson For Present and Past Simple Questions A2 – B2
This revision lesson is designed to help learners from A2 to B2 reinforce the correct formation of present and past simple questions.
The worksheet shows both QASI (Question + Auxiliary + Subject + Infinitive) and QVS (Question Word + Verb + Subject) structures.
These forms require constant practice, even for higher-level students, to ensure accuracy and confidence.
This simple reference sheet can be used to prompt students to self-correct the use of the auxiliary with verbs other than the verb to be and can, and then later, when will and the modal verbs are introduced.
I also use it with FCE and CAE students to help them eliminate simple errors.
