To Dream
I close my eyes at night, and drift into that timeless place,
I catch the light reflecting from your smile, and then I see your face.
The sheer delight of seeing, the woman I wish for,
Sends me to a place, where I can dream some more.
To dream of her gentle touch, and the magic in her eyes,
The softness of her fragrant hair, held back with silken ties.
To dream of the moment, when I again will taste her kiss,
And hold her in my arms, and sense the mutual bliss.
To dream of the moment, that we will again make love,
And feel the inner passions, that we have both been dreaming of.
To dream of the quiet time, when we lay in our caress,
And feel the warmth and tenderness of true togetherness.
To dream of dawn’s sunlight, catching highlights in your hair,
A fresh new day together, and every moment we will share.
To dream of a morning kiss, to start our wished for day,
To you I whisper in my dream, this day’s not far away.

Meet me in the land of dreams, and meet there we will do.
